Froze Sunday?

Looks like tomorrow, Rose Sunday, could be a rather low Sunday. I just happened to read a National Weather Service warning for the coming week:
SAN JUAN COUNTY-WESTERN WHATCOM COUNTY-SOUTHWEST INTERIOR- EAST PUGET SOUND LOWLANDS-...

...THE LONGEST STREAK OF COLD WEATHER SINCE DECEMBER 1990 IS ON THE WAY...
SNOW SHOWERS TONIGHT AND SUNDAY COULD PRODUCE LOCAL ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 3 INCHES...CREATING SLIPPERY ROADS AND SIDEWALKS. ROADWAYS AND OTHER SURFACES THAT ARE ALREADY WET WILL QUICKLY BECOME ICY AND DANGEROUS....
IN ADDITION...A WEATHER SYSTEM ON WEDNESDAY COULD INTERACT WITH THE STUBBORN COLD AIR MASS TO PRODUCE A RENEWED THREAT OF ACCUMULATING SNOW ACROSS THE WESTERN WASHINGTON LOWLANDS. ...

Roads coated with ice, especially on hills, are bad news. If this hits a lot of folks will stay home.

There was a little snow though the roads down lower seemed to be fine -- but Union Hill was quit icy.

Our road and 256th st is still icy. We missthe AWD in the Vue on days like yesterday and today. This little Scion just floats on the ice! (although, we'll like the car's weight come time to fill it up; it gets 38 mpg on the highway).

We're in DC for 4th Sunday; Drews mom is being promoted and wanted us there for her SES pinning ceremony. Hopefully we can do pictures for the bulletin board and fundraiser after we return?
