To be absent from the body is to be present with Christ

Dear ones in our Lord, It is my sad duty to inform you that Bill has gone to be with Our Lord - he slipped away on Saturday morning at 9:09 am. I will inform you when memorial plans have been made. Finding someone to take his mantle is going to be extraordinarily difficult. Your prayers for our family are appreciated more than mere words can express. -Kathy

May God be with you, Kathe, and your precious girls, as you go through this vale of tears.

    Kathy,

May he rest in peace, and rise in Glory! Our prayers to his family, and especially his church family, which through his efforts I know almost as well as my own.

    Dear Kathy,
What I knew of Bill came mostly through reading this blog since 2006, although we did meet you both in 2007 while visiting St. Bart's. Our family found ourselves drawn toward the Anglican expression of the Faith, and Bill's blog was like having a friend recount for us the ongoing events of life in an Anglican parish. Coming from a non-liturgical and non-sacramental background, this was especially helpful to us in our faith journey, and we settled into our local parish two years ago. As I've followed his blog I've often thought, "Bill is a person who really loves the Church," and I've always found him to be an encouragement to me and a positive example. He will certainly be missed, and your family and church are in my prayers.
